Excalibur Academies Trust currently comprises 8 academies in the South West (M4 corridor) with plans to expand to 12+ in the next year. Our mission is to develop highly capable, confident and independent learners who are well prepared to meet the opportunities and challenges presented by a global community. Together our Academies educate more than 3500 students from ages 3 to 19 and employ more than 500 staff.

The new CEO will serve as the Trust’s Accounting Officer and further develop the EAT vision by leading and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning for all students. The successful candidate must be able to develop strong strategies for growth and be able to lead highly capable teams to realise the trust’s core objectives.

This is an exciting, rewarding and wide-ranging position. It requires highly tuned communication skills of the highest order and the strategic flexibility to adapt to changing political and economic challenges facing MATs.

The successful candidate will join the Excalibur group at a very exciting time in the development and expansion of the Trust as we seek to expand to 12-14 academies.

The salary will reflect the calibre of the successful candidate.
